  • Andrea

As far back as Andrea can remember, she has had a passion for movement. She grew up in a suburb of Chicago enjoying competitive swimming, tennis, softball and cheerleading. Her passion for the human body in motion led Andrea to complete a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois. After graduating, Andrea worked in both corporate fitness and personal training for many years. It was not until her husband began experiencing back pain from playing football that Andrea was introduced to Pilates. Together, she and her husband signed up for their first Pilates reformer class. "His back started to feel better and I became intrigued to learn more." She earned her first Matwork & Reformer Certification through Stott Pilates in 2003. After teaching for a few years, Andrea decided to continue her education and completed the Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Certification in 2011. She also became certified through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). "I enjoy teaching Pilates to all types of individuals. Whether you're young, old, athletic, rehabbing, pregnant, or just looking to explore a new practice, Pilates will change the way you move and think. The unique mind⁄body practice will improve your strength, flexibility, and overall health. Your body will begin to move with ease and balance. My hope is to share this amazing gift with you!!" When Andrea is not practicing Pilates or watching her kids' playing collegiate sports, she enjoys competing in a local tennis league. When traveling, she loves to ski, play golf and hike. "The great thing is with the core strength, coordination and muscular balance I gained through Pilates, the sky's the limit." She lives an active life with her husband of 24 years and her two amazing children. Andrea's is currently certified through; Pilates Method Alliance, Balanced Body, & Stott.

  • Linda A

Linda began taking private Pilates lessons in the late 1990’s and saw first hand the direct benefit to her core strength, balance, posture and muscle tone. The cumulative benefits were apparent through the improvement of her yearly ski trip to Telluride, Colorado. She went from being a green skier to double blue and a few black runs. This led Linda to become a Pilates Instructor and she graduated from the Power Pilates program in 2003. Linda loves to educate and received a BA degree from The University of Miami in Elementary Education. Linda is also licensed in Neuromuscular and Pregnancy Massage. She is a practicing Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and attended The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2013 and The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute Health Coach Program in 2015. All of Linda’s training is focused on the overall health of the body, both internal and external. Linda’s passion shines through in her multiple disciplines to help her clients and students live better in their bodies.
